Matthew Fox is an American actor, best known for his roles on the tv shows Lost and Party of Five. He plays Racer X in the 2008 Speed Racer movie, and would reprise the role in the video game based on the film.

Fox did not watch Speed Racer as a child, although he claims he recognized aspects of it when he re-watched it after hearing about the movie. Instead he says:
