Trixie (2008 character)

Trixie is Speed Racer's girlfriend and a main character in the 2008 Speed Racer film.

Background[]

Trixie has known Speed Racer since they were kids in Elementary School. Some of her classmates had called Speed crazy because of his obsession with Racecars and racing, while Trixie liked him for who he was. One day Speed offered her to see his car collection at home, eventually picking up a package from a mysterious guy to give to Pops Racer. When they arrived at the garage, Trixie was introduced to Pops and Rex Racer, the latter realized the package contained a bomb and threw it out before it detonated. Since that incident, Trixie became more interested in the racing community than ever. The two eventually went to high school with Trixie helping him out in some of his classes.

Videogame[]

The events of Speed Racer: The Videogame take place one year after the movie. In the game, Trixie becomes a WRL racer driving the #7 car named TRX-Rod, made by Racer Motors. She is a playable character available by default. Her ally is Speed Racer while her rival is Esther "Rev" Reddy.
