Peter Fernandez

Peter Fernandez (b. January 29, 1927) is a New York born actor, voice actor, director, and film crew person from the United States with extensive experience in screen writing, production, and voice and dialog direction.
Despite a vast and varied career in entertainment extending from the late 1930s to the present day, Fernandez is perhaps best known for reading the title role of Speed Racer in the eponymous 1967 anime dub. Peter, among others, in his capacity as a voice-actor, writer, and producer, was instrumental in introducing many anime series to anglophonic audiences.
Trivia
- Fernandez cameoed as a Local Announcer in the 2008 film. His cameo is during the race at Thunderhead, where the multiple commentators are shown, Peter was the first of these commentators.
- Fernandez supplies the voice of himself as an adult and his younger brother in Speed Racer - The Next Generation.
