Sweet-Tooth Jangala is a background character from the movie, and a playable racer in the PlayStation 2 version of the videogame.

Background[]

His T-180 does not exist in the movie, but he seems to drive a rally car sponsored by Topps, appearing during the Casa Cristo 5000 race.

Casa Cristo[]

He's first seen in the first row of the race, being front and center. Later on after the race starts, he takes the right lane going into the Muqranna section, and can be seen behind a Joe's Drive-In car and ahead of Delila, but disappears one scene later and is replaced with a BodySculpt Gym car. It is later only seen in the Zunubian Desert section of the race.

Grand Prix[]

Sweet-Tooth's name appears in the racer list from the Grand Prix, however he doesn't physically show up in the race. In the list, he's sponsored by Topps.

Videogame[]

Sweet-Tooth fully debuts in the PlayStation 2 version of the videogame, driving the car named Gormandizer. His ally is Sam "Lightning" Storm and his rival is Kakkoi Teppodama.

Trivia[]

  • Similar to Mariana Zanja, he's also a pacifist. He often calls everyone a friend, regardless if they're an enemy or ally.
  • Sweet-Tooth Jangala is the penultimate racer to be unlocked in the PS2 version of the videogame. The last one being Chim Chim.
  • Sweet-Tooth's T-180 changed sponsor and name during development. In the files, the car was known as "Acid Drop", and Sweet-Tooth's code-name was "Bazooka", referring to the Bazooka Bubble Gum from Topps. As seen in the racer list from the Grand Prix in the movie, Sweet-Tooth Jangala's sponsor is listed as "Topps", meaning that its old livery was likely similar to that of the Topps street car, before being changed to the Happy Chow sponsor in the PlayStation 2 release due to some kind of falling out with the Topps company.
  • The Shark Driver and Sweet-Tooth in the movie have the same appearance.
